Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the National Bank Daycare Food Service
Position: Cook
Salary: $23.00–$25.00 (depending on experience)
Schedule / Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to production guidelines, standardized recipes, and children’s allergy requirements
- Perform cooking and finishing of dishes
- Optimize food and labor costs
- Deliver meals and snacks to the daycare floor
- Ensure compliance with management programs, as well as health, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Participate in inventory control and stock-taking
- Monitor and maintain quality of service and customer satisfaction
- Be able to adapt to operational needs
- Perform any other related tasks as required
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry
- Experience as a cook in a daycare (CPE) is a strong asset
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to daily work
- MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certification
- Diploma in food service management / dietetics / institutional cooking (DEP or equivalent)

The successful candidate will be required to complete and pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (if required by the operations). If hired, employment will be conditional upon Aramark being satisfied that both requirements have been successfully met.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00.
