Senior Legal Director in Private Equity Fund Strategy and Management

Elevate your career as a Senior Legal Director specializing in private equity funds. Engage in fundraising and fund formation activities within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial landscape. This crucial role requires a licensed lawyer with 7+ years in fund-related legal matters. You'll draft and negotiate vital documentation, review marketing materials for compliance, and manage debt instruments. Collaboration with capital management and portfolio teams will be key to succeeding in fundraising efforts and innovative fund strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Draft fund formation documents and agreements
Support unique fundraising efforts and investment vehicles
Collaborate on capital management strategies
Negotiate credit facilities effectively
Oversee external legal counsel for fund-related issues

Requirements:

JD with extensive experience in fund law
Background in a major law firm or corporate setting
Licensed in Ontario and/or U.S. needed
Expertise in fundraising and debt instruments
Collaborative and commercially-focused mindset

Lead strategic legal initiatives that enhance fund operations and fundraising within alternative assets. #J-18808-Ljbffr
