Job Responsibility:
Chef
Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing an exceptional culinary experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing dishes in a timely manner- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food production schedules- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations- Develop new menu items and specials based on seasonal availability- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed- Collaborate with management to create cost-effective menus while maintaining quality- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures- Oversee kitchen operations during service to ensure smooth workflow
Skills:- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary skills- Knowledge of bartending and mixology is a plus- Experience working as a cook in a restaurant setting- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Excellent leadership and communication skills- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service- Familiarity with all aspects of kitchen operations and equipment maintenance
