Warehouse Coordinator

Job Summary:

Our client has an immediate need for a weekend Warehouse Shift Coordinator. The days and hours for this shift are Saturday to Monday 6AM to 6PM.

This is a Temp to Hire Role Starting at $21 per hour with the likely hood of being hired on directly to our client after 90 days of good attendance and a person in good standing with work and their colleagues.

The main focus of this role is to provide operational support for the distribution centre operation management and line supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Answer telephone and book receiving and outbound appointments as directed by supervisors.
  
• File and retrieve Distribution Centre receiving and BOL documentation as requested by freight department.
  
• Verify orders, match Purchase Orders to vendor packing slips.
  
• Consolidate carrier documentation and assign receiving doors to carriers upon their arrival at the Distribution Centre.
  
• Produce storage labels and update perpetual inventory to correct receiving errors.
  
• Prepare documents, debit notes, pallet bills of lading, etc. for outbound loads.
  
• Ensure all outbound orders shipped on a timely basis, confirmed in system and BOL printed.
  
• Record daily receiving logs and post receiving documents to system.
  
• Provide administrative computer system support for Warehouse Team Members.
  
• Modification of orders as per client requests using the Accellos system.
  
• Assign orders out to the Team Members as instructed by supervisor
  
• Back up to the Inventory Control when necessary
  
• All other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• High School Graduate with a willingness to learn new tasks and accept challenges
  
• Working knowledge of PC’s and common office software(Word, Excel, Access, Email )
  
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems ( Delfour, SAP )
  
• One to Two years of general warehousing experience
  
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills required
  
• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain management, or related fields.
  
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), CMMS, and transportation management systems.
  
• Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging operations, and materials management.
  
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
  
• Prior experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment is highly desirable.
