Enercorp is a well-established technical sales and marketing firm specializing in roofing and building envelope product and systems. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage and grow our British Columbia territory. This is a high-autonomy role designed for a results-driven professional who thrives on the challenge of securing specifications, navigating the tendering process, and driving long-term partnerships with the territory’s top consulting, construction and design firms
Qualifications:
- A proven track record in technical sales with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with roofing and building envelope consultants, general contractors and architects
- A firm understanding of the construction and tendering process, product standards, and local codes.
- Ability to interpret specifications, and technical literature.
- A professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
- Ability to create and conduct presentations.
- Self motivated, results driven, and able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Present and promote roofing and wall products and systems to construction industry professionals
- Drive project specifications by conducting frequent in-person technical presentations
- Develop and deliver compelling and value-added group presentations.
- Secure ongoing specification positions
- Analyze project requirements and specifications and propose project-specific solutions to stake holders
- Provide technical support throughout the construction cycle.
- Collaborate with manufacturer’s and the distribution channel to move the specification to an eventual sale
- Continuously improve product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and developments
Experience:
- technical building envelope sales: 5 years (required)
