We are seeking a Structural Engineer for a 3‑month assignment, based in Leatherhead, Surrey. On offer competitive hourly pay rate, outside IR35 work engagement, working 5 days in the office. NB: We can only consider candidates with the right to live and work in the UK. Purpose of the Role

As a Technical Advisor – Offshore structural, you will support the lead engineer in the preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned. Experience / Duties

Design basis, material and construction specifications Independently perform engineering analyses for operational (in‑service) phase (inplace, fatigue), non‑operational phase (loadout, transportation, lifting), and accidental phase (blast, fire, dropped object) for brownfield projects. Perform detailed design of equipment supports, access platforms etc. Review analyses/calculations performed by others, provide technical guidance and proactively resolve discrepancies Liaise with other disciplines, client and third‑party contractors and coordinate with project team members across global offices to deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets. Experience / Skills

Degree in Structural Engineering Design. Minimum experience of 12 years, excellent technical and practical engineering skills, consistently delivering on quality and schedule. Proficient user of SACS suite of software (a prerequisite). Proficiency to perform non‑linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS is desirable. In‑depth knowledge of latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902, and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes – a must. Work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks.
