GARDENWORKS is British Columbia's largest independently owned garden centre company with 10 locations across Vancouver's lower mainland, Vancouver Island, and South Okanagan.

GARDENWORKS North Vancouver is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to manage our pottery / ceramic department. Your primary goal will be contributing to the success of store by growing sales and strengthening margins within the department.
Overview of role:
- Building sales and supporting the GARDENWORKS Brand by providing outstanding service to our guests
- Driving the pottery category performance through sales and service
- Working with the store merchandising team creating inspiring displays and end caps
- Receiving of all incoming pottery shipments, recording damaged items, shortages, and corresponding with Buyer/Vendor to rectify damages and shortages
Is this you?
- A passion for what we do - connecting people to nature and growing!
- 3+ years retail customer service experience
- Strong organization skills are self-directed, and you work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strength in Microsoft excel, and utilizing our POS system for sales reporting & receiving
- A positive attitude, you love working & collaborating within a team environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, and holidays as seasonal peaks require, including store opening and closing responsibilities
- This job requires extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to lift to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions and environments
- Forklift certification or willingness to go through our in-house training program
Job type: Full time 40 hours per week / Salary: $23.00 - 25.00/hr
