Wayver Rentals Inc. is in Fort McMurray, AB, is currently seeking experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. We are looking for team player’s that are self-motivated, safety conscience, require minimal supervision. Multiple positions available for shop and field.
The ideal candidate would have a diverse understanding of marine and construction equipment, pumps, generators, light towers and heaters. Experience driving in the mine and around heavy equipment an asset.
· Follow procedures and safe work practices.
· Maintain and repair diverse fleet of construction equipment, boats, barges, generators, light towers, compressors, pumps, heaters, skid steers, telehandlers, AWPs, loaders, excavators, P&V trucks, and UTVs.
· Complete and submit required documentation and service reports.
· Maintain and stock service vehicle.
· Operate independently with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
· Portray and promote company in a positive and professional manner.
· HET Journeyperson Certificate
· 2+ Years Industry Experience
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Undergo and successfully pass Drug & Alcohol Test
· Ability to operate heavy machinery
· 7 days on 7 off day shift
· 14 days on 14 off day shift
· $60-$65 dependent on years of experience
· Competitive total compensation package including fully funded benefits package, LOA and RRSP incentive plan
· Coveralls and PPE provided
· Camp and flights from Edmonton & Calgary to Horizon CNRL available
· Company cell phone for field position
