Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for an individual with public practice experience who enjoys preparing year-end financial statements, tax returns, and working directly with clients in a variety of industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare year-end financial statements and supporting working papers
Prepare various tax filings
Work directly with clients to obtain information and ensure timely completion of engagements
Maintain exceptional client service while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism
Assist with other accounting and advisory services as required Qualifications
Accounting diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
Minimum three years of public practice experience with year-end preparation as the primary responsibility
Experience using QuickBooks and Sage 50 accounting software
Experience with Caseware and TaxPrep is considered an asset
Excellent communication and client service skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
