Line and Prep Cook

We are looking for a passionate  Line / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team at  Birdies Eats & Drinks . Our ideal candidate takes pride in great food, works well as part of a team, and brings a desire to learn, grow, and contribute to an excellent guest experience.

As a Line / Prep Cook, you will:

• Prepare and execute food to Birdies standards, with a focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Work alongside the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Complete daily prep while maintaining proper food handling, organization, and cleanliness.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods, and kitchen standards to ensure consistent product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station throughout your shift.
• Support your fellow team members during busy services and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
• Be a problem solver and supportive team player who communicates clearly and works well under pressure.
• Continue developing your culinary skills through hands-on experience, coaching, and mentorship.
• Share your passion for food and hospitality by contributing to an exceptional customer experience.

What we need from you:

• Previous culinary, line cook, or prep cook experience is an asset, but  a willingness to learn is just as important .
• A passion for food and a commitment to teamwork, quality, and fun.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• The ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Food Safe Level 1 certification is a bonus.
• The ability to legally work in Canada.
