Merck seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead operations at an Animal Health manufacturing site in Prince Edward Island. The role encompasses production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and team leadership of 9-12 people, reporting to the Site Head.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated site supply planning, aligning customer demand with capacity, inventory, and manufacturing schedules
- Own material planning, ordering, and supply-risk identification with mitigation strategies
- Oversee warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations
- Lead product packout and visual inspection operations ensuring safety and compliance
- Lead Sales and Operations Planning process and establish performance measures for supply reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, engineering, or related field
- Minimum five years of supply chain experience
- Minimum three years of people-leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, inventory, warehousing, and logistics
- Proven ability to translate demand and operational constraints into executable plans
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to provide quality-system leadership in regulated manufacturing environment
Compensation: $98,560–$147,840 CAD base
