The Accounts Payable Administrator (Bilingual English/French) will be responsible for:
- Reconcile high volume of vendor statements; electronically or via Excel using formulas.
- Review invoice processing for accuracy.
- Correspond and build relationships with vendors; ensuring accounts are current.
- Maintain close follow up with branches, ensuring invoices are processed swiftly.
- Research invoice discrepancies; work internally to resolve.
- Act as backup to Accounts Payable Administrators; processing payments, posting batches etc.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date; follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with month end/year end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Various tasks and projects as required.
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Administrator:
- Bilingual Proficiency (English and French); both written and verbal (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of accounts payable/customer service principals.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to effectively deal with both external and internal personnel.
