Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team at Honey. This role is essential in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth accounting operations. .
Responsibilities
- Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage vendor accounts, payments, and reconciliations.
- Handle bank reconciliations, cash deposit audits, and credit card statements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, calculate bonuses/commissions, and remittances.
- Document management tasks, including scanning, filing, and maintaining invoices and backup
- Expense analysis
Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting and/or finance.
- 3 -5 experience in accounting with an emphasis on accounts payable.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
