Data Scientist / ML Engineer at Peak Power

Make a difference in energy management as a Data Scientist / ML Engineer with Peak Power. Use your skills in forecasting and optimization to support sustainability initiatives. This role reports to the Director of Software Engineering, where you will take charge of the complete lifecycle of forecasting models. Your problem-solving abilities combined with data pipeline management will optimize energy grid performance for our clients. Engage with diverse teams to translate data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain secure data pipelines
- Manage forecasting models from data preparation to production
- Create advanced forecasting models using ML techniques
- Monitor ML systems and model performance
- Ensure operational readiness of data and forecasting workflows
- Bachelor’s in software engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in data science and ML
- Proficient in Python and containerized applications
- Familiarity with relational databases and Airflow
- Understanding of MLOps platforms like AWS SageMaker
