Logistics Agent

Context

As a Logistics Agent, you will coordinate shipments, monitor deliveries, and ensure inventory accuracy to effectively support operations. You will contribute to optimizing costs, timelines, and logistics processes while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Missions/Main Duties

• Coordinate shipments across North America, without limitation to this region.
• Negotiate rates and pricing with carriers to improve delivery times and ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor orders and parts to ensure delivery to the required location(s).
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and deliveries, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and enhance operational processes.

Profile/Skills

Education: Professional diploma in a related field.
Years of experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in Office suite, particularly Excel and Word;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Familiarity with inventory management.

Personal & soft skills:

• Attention to detail when identifying and ordering parts;
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams;
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, both in French and in English*
