Firmware Engineer for Micromobility at Lyft

Join Lyft's Urban Solutions as a Firmware Engineer focused on innovative micromobility hardware. Develop features for electric bikes, scooters, and more in a hybrid work setting. In this essential role, you'll contribute to Lyft's product line while engaging in new product introduction and sustainability initiatives. With a minimum of 3 years in C/C++ for embedded systems, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create world-class mobility products. Your expertise in real-time operating systems and debugging will help drive quality improvements across the fleet. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded features for micromobility products
- Collaborate with teams to prototype and launch products
- Refine existing hardware for better user experience
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of C/C++ embedded systems experience
- Knowledge of Python scripting for automation
- Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M processors
- Strong debugging skills with electrical systems
