Senior Communications Advisor with Flexible Work

Lead innovative communication strategies as a Senior Communications Advisor while enjoying flexible work arrangements. Engage employees and enhance our regional media profile. In this permanent role reporting to the Communications Manager, you'll drive strategic communication planning that addresses organizational goals. Advising senior leaders is key, along with managing proactive media outreach and producing quality content. Your efforts will focus on fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders while aiding in change initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Create strategic communications aligned with business goals
- Advise on reputation management and media engagement
- Develop communications for change initiatives and employee engagement
- Serve as the media contact, managing inquiries and outreach
- Monitor issues and provide strategic recommendations
- Post-secondary degree in Communications or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in relevant roles
- Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability in media relations and issues management
- Excellent project management and relationship-building capabilities
