Our client is looking for a Director of Finance to join their team!

About the Opportunity

• Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions
• Coordinate internal and external financial statements
• Plan, organize and coordinate the year-end close process with internal staff and external auditors including preparation of audit binders
• Provide VP Finance with information vital to the decision-making process
• Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, fixed asset records, inventory, general ledger accounting and payroll.
• Analysis and reporting to control costs of goods, miscellaneous projects and material procurement to drive margin.
• Hire, train and mentor competent accounting staff
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure successful completion of the company’s regulatory and tax filings
• Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvements and implement new processes
• Maintain operations budgeting and forecasting models
• All other duties as required

About You

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in a related field
• CPA
• Minimum 8-10 years accounting experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
• Coaching and mentoring of direct reports
• Self-motivated, self-directed with an ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of all aspects of accounting principles and strong knowledge of accounting

Salary Range
$170,000 - $180,000 / year
