Expert Financial Aid Advisor Role

Join the education sector as an Expert Financial Aid Advisor providing crucial support through OSAP. This temporary, full-time position allows you to balance onsite and remote work. As a Financial Aid Advisor, you will play an essential role in guiding students through the financial aid process, from application to funding. You’ll assess student eligibility, communicate complex policies clearly, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance, all while working on the Doon campus and remotely. This hybrid model caters to both your schedule and student needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret OSAP policies and eligibility criteria
• Counsel students on funding and budgeting options
• Review sensitive documentation while maintaining confidentiality
• Analyze student academic performance impacting financial aid
• Educate students during orientation and financial aid events Requirements:
• Diploma in business, communications, or social sciences
• At least three years in client services or education
• Proven experience with OSAP and case management
• Familiarity with FIPPA legislation and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills Empower students while navigating their financial aid journey in this impactful role.
