Project Manager for Offshore Wind Initiatives

Take charge of innovative offshore wind projects with Net Zero Atlantic in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As Project Manager, you will guide pivotal initiatives, engage multiple stakeholders, and drive clean energy development in a hybrid work environment. Net Zero Atlantic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee impactful offshore wind projects over a 14-month fixed-term contract. This role requires adeptness in project execution starting from proposal development to stakeholder communication. You will encourage collaboration across sectors including government, industry, and Indigenous communities to advance Atlantic Canada's offshore wind prospects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from proposal to execution and financial reporting
- Administer third-party research, coordinating contracts and deliverables
- Maintain relationships with partners across multiple sectors
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through workshops and events
- Prepare comprehensive presentations and reports
- 3-5+ years in offshore wind or marine operations
- Proven financial management in project execution
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
