Join the dedicated team at Peace Arch Hospital as a full-time Pediatrician providing essential on-call consulting services. Cater to over 1000 low-risk deliveries annually in a supportive environment. Peace Arch Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatrician to join a congenial group specializing in home-based consulting for the Maternity Unit. Responsibilities include attending C-section deliveries and providing consultations for any post-natal concerns. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to establish a consulting practice and participate in sub-specialty clinics within Fraser Health. Key Responsibilities:
- Attend all C-section deliveries in the maternity unit
- Consult on post-natal concerns and neonatal resuscitation
- Establish a consulting practice in the local area
- Participate in sub-specialty clinics as opportunities arise
- Collaborate with Langley Memorial and Surrey Memorial Hospitals
- Pediatrician certification with or without sub-specialty
- Willingness to engage in community consulting
- Ability to work on-call and manage hospital rotations
- Commitment to high-quality patient care
- Eligible for Fraser Health sponsorship
