Retail Private Brand Marketing Manager
Giant Tiger
Lead retail private brand marketing for Giant Tiger from its Ottawa Home Office, with hybrid work scheduled two to three days weekly.
This Manager, Private Brand Engagement role focuses on turning product attributes, benefits, claims, and evidence into useful brand messaging. You will support approved priorities, Go-to-Market blueprints, and Marketing/Creative planning. Your work will also strengthen Team Tiger understanding of Giant Value products and value-focused propositions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build foundational Private Brand product stories and proof points
- Inform Go-to-Market and Marketing/Creative planning
- Develop engagement plans for approved product priorities
- Strengthen internal understanding of Giant Value positioning
- Identify performance gaps through activation effectiveness monitoring
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or related study
- Five or more years in product marketing or commercial planning
- Ability to translate attributes and priorities into brand messaging
- Strong understanding of merchandising and product selection factors
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Use product marketing, commercial planning, and messaging expertise to clarify Giant Tiger’s private brand value proposition.
