W-WW Engineering Management Office Lead

Join Niagara Region as the Manager of the Water and Wastewater Engineering Management Office. Shape project governance and delivery frameworks for effective capital program execution.
As the Manager, you will report directly to the Associate Director and take charge of implementing governance and project delivery standards. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in an engineering discipline and over a decade of project management experience in the public sector. Your leadership will directly influence the effectiveness and compliance of our water and wastewater capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee governance and standards for capital programs
• Ensure alignment with corporate procurement and legal frameworks
• Implement stage-gate controls for progress tracking
• Foster continuous improvement in engineering practices
• Manage reporting and portfolio management for projects
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Civil or related engineering field
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in project management
• Background in engineering governance and PMO functions
• Proven skills in portfolio management and process optimization
• Experience in a municipal or public sector setting
Lead projects that support Niagara's strong community commitment through effective water management.
