Nutr Mayzoon Housing Team Lead

The Supportive Housing Team Lead reports directly to the Senior Programs Manager and works within a multidisciplinary team within NYFC. The Team Lead is responsible for the oversight and support of staff and residents in a 24/7 supportive living home. This position will provide an expansion of basic needs services and expansion of intensive case management based out of the Newo Yotina Friendship Centre that integrates with existing internal and external community resources.
JOB DUTIES:
Follow appropriate policy and procedures and ensure that Intensive Case Coordinators, Intensive Case Support Workers, Food Security Coordinator and Maintenance Personnel are doing the same.
Oversee two supportive living homes; this includes day-to-day operational functions, as well as crisis management.
Supervise Intensive Case Coordinators and Intensive Case Support Workers and report to Senior Programs Manager when needed.
Maintain data in FYIdb and ensure case notes and other pertinent data are being properly recorded.
Supervise weekly room checks with Intensive Case Coordinators, as needed, to ensure safety measures are upheld.
Develop case plans and goal setting with residents and staff, ensure regular follow ups are being completed.
Support Intensive Case Coordinators and Intensive Case Support Workers in managing and resolving crises and disputes with residents.
Ensure facilitators are welcomed into the home during programming and that all required materials are prepared prior to program facilitation. Help source desired programming and supports to be facilitated in home or at external locations.
Mediate conflict between staff and report to Senior Programs Manager when needed.
When directed by Senior Programs Manager, schedule staff to ensure the home has appropriate staff coverage 24 hours a day.  
Attend meetings with community stakeholders as required or assigned by the Senior Programs Manager.
