Currently seeking a personable, trauma-informed, detail-oriented Addictions Attendant for our Post House Programming.
Assets:An employment history working with individuals with substance misuse
Some post secondary education
Ability to build good rapport in order to effectively support participants through crisis when they arise Must:
Currently have a Novice 2 Drivers License minimum. A lot of this position is transportation.
Be able to obtain your CRC - Vulnerable Sector Duties of position:
-Monitor, observe, report on participant body
-Written and verbal reporting with coworkers
-Offer support and guidance to newer coworkers as well as participants where ever possible.
-Facilitate the self-administration of medications
-Facilitate urinalysis screening
-Ensure compliance to participants schedules and facility guidelines.
-Support participants next steps in recovery in community(ie: applications, appointments, household management, social activities)
-Providing timely transportation and reporting on vehicle condition daily
-Adhering to a multi-person calendar We offer two shifts Sunday-Saturday including statutory holidays
Hours of Work can be 8:00am-4:00pm / 4:00pm-Midnight
