Personal Care Attendant

Personal Care Attendant is required by Care4one to assist with night & evening care. These include, but are not limited to, bed repositioning in evening as directed, transferring between bed/wheelchair and wheelchair/commode, personal hygiene (bowel care, showering, dental care, personal grooming), meal preparation and light household duties as needed.
The successful candidate would ideally have flexible availability which accommodations for work schedule can be considered a month in advance when enrolled in the nursing program or social worker faculty, previous personal care attendant experience an asset, good communications skills, be physically fit, possess a caring and empathetic attitude, take direction well, able to complete tasks with verbal guidance, and will be respectful of family members and maintain the home in a tidy manner. Confidentiality between the caregiver and the client is a firm requirement, together with reliability and dependability.
This is a Full time or Part Time position. The evening shifts are from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm.  Hourly pay would be commensurate with experience and is negotiable.
