Front of House Manager

Job Responsibility:

The Schedule for this role is Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm and Saturday if needed. Required Responsibilities

• Greet all clients as they enter the salon
• Answer all incoming calls politely and professionally while engaging clients
• Efficiently book appointments for the salon, and manage multi-line phones
• Manage all appointment bookings for salon via phone and email, and confirm all appointments
• Offer assistance to clients looking for information on all products
• Handling all financial transaction with clients; assist with client needs and taking payments
• Maintain the appearance of the reception area, waiting area and display units
• Assist in all areas of the salon operation including cleaning as requested by management
• Regularly attend and participate in training and staff meetings
• Manage the flow of the salon floor, communicate with and manage the assistants
• Relay any issues or concerns for discussion immediately to management
• Assist with making all the clients comfortable including refreshments for them as needed
• Punctuality is a high priority and must have excellent customer service skills
• Other duties as assigned by management on occasion and as needed.
• Assist the stylists with the maintenance of the salon to ensure it is always clean and presentable. Also, if needed: Hair Shampooing
• Daily running of salon and cleaning in all areas on a continual basis
• Delegate: Cleaning Duties, Front of House
• Stock/Inventory control, waste management and place orders

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• 1-2 years

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 2 years (required)
• Front desk: 2 years (required)
• Database administration: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
