Manager - Market Analytics & Business Intelligence

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Market Analytics & Business Intelligence for Montreal to lead a team of analysts driving commercial insights across brand and sales portfolios. This leadership role combines people management, strategic data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support pharmaceutical commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

Mentor and develop MABI analysts in soft skills, technical capabilities, and executive communication
Drive organizational change through performance management, professional development planning, and succession mapping
Lead sales force planning, commercial modeling, and analytics supporting incentive plan design and rollout
Transform technical market data into executive narratives and strategic recommendations for brand and sales teams
Manage market research supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in sciences, business administration, analytics, statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
5–8 years related experience including 3–5 years in pharmaceutical commercial roles and 2–3 years in market research
Proven people management experience with track record in product or brand market research
Advanced knowledge of brand financial models, qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and pharmaceutical market tracking data
Strategic business acumen, project management skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders using data
Advanced English and French proficiency, MS Office expertise, beginner-level database programming
Valid passport and driver's license; willingness to travel 5–10% within Canada and internationally
