Business Intelligence Analyst Developer

Job Responsibility: Ride the next mile with us! To support its technological transformation and to steer informed data-driven decision-making across the organization, Intelcom is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Developer to support data engineers, developers and data scientists. Reporting to the BI Product Owner, your role will be to master BI systems, understand and analyze clients' needs to translate them into detailed specifications for their realization and accompany the development of the BI solutions at each stage. Responsibilities The responsibilities of the BI Analyst Developer will cover the whole BI development lifecycle:

• Data Analysis:

• Analyze and interpret complex source datasets to uncover data transformation strategies as well as actionable insights and trends
• Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance

• BI Development:

• Contribute to the BI solutions, architectures and their detailed design
• Document functional design analytics:

• Data transformation mapping
• Workflows' design (BPO)
• Operationalization and support process

• Identify and recommend opportunities for system improvement
• Foster quality and integrous solutions by developing and documenting test scenarios, validation tasks on reports, dashboards and datasets
• Prepare and accompany users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Create and maintain data models, dashboards and reports for various business units

• Propose and deploy data input templates for the business units where needed

• Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business, data and analytical requirements to ensure BI solutions meet their needs
• Translate the requirements in technical specifications

• Performance Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for performance improvement in existing BI solutions
• Optimize queries and data structures to enhance report and dashboard performance

• Documentation: create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data dictionaries, technical specifications and user guides
• Training and Support:

• Act as a SME on software functionalities as well as data availability, quality and utility
• Provide training and documentation to end-users and super users on BI tools and reports
• Offer on-going support to address user inquiries, issues and ad hoc analysis. Propose solutions and action plans

Technical skills and background

• 2-4 years working in business intelligence projects
• At least 3 years working as a functional analyst in data projects with actual experience documenting data flows, business cases and data dictionaries
• Academic degree in related area (Analytics, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Good knowledge of ETL/ELT principles, data model standards and integration
• Expertise in Power BI or similar tools (Tableau etc.)

• Experience with the following is a plus :

• Data warehousing methodologies
• GIT
• Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Snowflake…)
