James Dick Construction is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Administrator for a 12-month maternity leave coverage at our Bolton office . The successful candidate will support the credit team by managing customer files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is integral to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our credit operations.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare daily bank deposits and perform bank reconciliations.
- Process credit applications, conduct credit checks, and set up new customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate notes and files regarding customer account changes.
- Act as reception and mail backup as needed.
- Process credit card transactions and arrange courier services.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve minor account differences.
- Provide ticket/invoice copies upon customer requests.
- Assist the credit team with documentation and conduct account analysis.
- Ensure thorough, accurate, and timely completion of all work.
- Work effectively without supervision and maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Professionalism and a positive attitude, especially under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry is an asset.
