Systems Engineering Role in Defence Applications

Shape the future of defence as a Systems Engineer with General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada. Focus on incorporating advanced applications for the Canadian Army's C4ISR initiatives. As part of the Land Command, Control, Communications, and Computers team, you will be involved in the software integration and testing processes. Your role will encompass setting up systems, automating tests, and collaborating in Agile sprints. This position is vital for enhancing operational capabilities in national security. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integration test strategies
- Engage with customers in Integrated Product Teams
- Prepare defect reports and feedback analysis
- Conduct integration verification in lab setups
- Collaborate during Sprint and PI planning
- Over 5 years of relevant integration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting capabilities
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of scripting and automation techniques
