Quantum Systems Development Engineer
Q-Block Computing
Engage in cutting-edge quantum hardware engineering as a Junior Quantum Engineer. Contribute to the integration and validation of quantum systems in a hands-on, collaborative role. This position involves working closely with cross-disciplinary teams to design and verify quantum subsystems. You’ll support the rigorous testing and documentation processes that ensure system reliability. With a focus on optics, electronics, and systems integration, you will enhance your engineering expertise within a growing field. Key Responsibilities:
- Support design and testing of quantum hardware subsystems
- Conduct verification and troubleshooting of systems
- Develop test fixtures and calibration processes
- Collaborate on translating requirements into hardware solutions
- Maintain thorough engineering records and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Hands-on experience with optical/electronic systems
- Proficient in data analysis tools like Python/MATLAB
- Familiarity with reading mechanical/electrical schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
