Senior Estimator for Large Projects
Pomerleau
Join Pomerleau Construction as a Senior Estimator, focusing on large-scale building projects. Use your expertise to lead estimation processes and mentor junior estimators effectively. This position on the Building Operations team requires your 8+ years of ICI construction experience to prepare thorough estimates for projects ranging from $1.5 million to $1 billion. You will evaluate required materials and manpower, while also fostering strong relationships with clients and trade partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate materials and manpower based on project requirements
- Create quantity summaries aligned with project plans
- Set pricing for each unique project
- Strengthen connections with key stakeholders
- Review submissions from suppliers and subcontractors
- University degree or diploma in estimation
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in ICI construction estimation
- Knowledge of excavation and formwork techniques
- Familiarity with estimation software tools
- Experience in mentoring junior estimators
