MEI Secondary School is seeking qualified applicants for the following teaching position with the intended start date of February 1 to June 30, 2027 .
Secondary School
Textiles Teacher (0.42 FTE)
Part-time temporary position, with an intended start date of February 1, 2027, to June 30, 2027.
Textiles 9, Textiles 10/11 & Textiles 12
This position includes three blocks of Textiles in a four-block schedule in the second semester only.
The successful applicant will possess a valid teaching certificate and relevant education and experience in Textiles.
The position will remain open until filled, with the first round of interviews expected on June 15 th , 2026.
The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2025-2026 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from $67,039 to $109,995.
