Landscape Laborer

We're looking for a physically strong, hard-working individual to join our landscaping crew for the season. This role is ideal for a student or someone looking for full-time outdoor work who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty—literally. You'll mostly be working alongside our foreman, handling the grunt work like moving materials, pushing wheelbarrows, and assisting with hardscaping builds.

This is a labour-intensive role, and we're being upfront: you'll be moving stone, gravel, and heavy material all summer long. But if you're someone who thrives in a physically demanding environment and wants to be part of a tight, positive crew—we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting with hardscaping jobs (moving gravel, laying base, cutting stone, setting pavers)

Hauling materials in a wheelbarrow (a lot)

Occasional digging, planting, and garden bed work

General yard maintenance tasks like trimming, edging, or weeding

Helping load/unload trucks and keep job sites clean and organized

Potential for out-of-town jobs requiring overnight stays (travel covered)

Always working closely with our foreman, while the rest of the crew handles more detailed planting and finishing work

Wage:Starts at $18/hour, with room to grow up to $24/hour based on experience, skill, and reliability.

Qualifications:

No experience necessary - we're willing to train the right person

Must have your own vehicle to get to and from our office

Must be able to lift 80 lbs repeatedly throughout the day

A positive, team-first attitude is mandatory—we don't do drama here

Experience with hardscaping or landscape construction is a bonus

Basic plant knowledge or experience with planting is helpful but not required

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
