To assist in this work, we are looking for a Part Time Dental Clinic Administrator.

Job Summary

As part of our medical support services, we have an on-site dental clinic where we provide the low-income community with dental care. The dental clinic administrator is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the dental clinic, including patient scheduling, billing, record-keeping, and staff management. The administrator ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the clinic, enabling the dental team to provide excellent patient care.

This position reports to Director of Operations.

Responsibilities:

Office Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental clinic.
• Implement office policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
• Order and stock supplies

Patient Management:

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Coordinate patient care with clinical staff.

Billing and Financial Management:

• Process patient billing and insurance claims.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare financial reports and budgets.
• Monitor and control clinic expenses.

Communication and Coordination:

• Act as a liaison between clinical staff, patients, and external partners.
• Coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
• Organize and facilitate staff meetings.
• Ensure effective communication within the clinic.

Technology and Equipment Management:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Ensure the clinic's technology and software are up-to-date.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dental office setting (CDA, Office Manager or Dental Reception).
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in dental practice management software.
• Understanding of billing and insurance processes.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent, part-time position (approximately 12-20 hours per week). The dental office hours are Monday-Friday, and a schedule will be determined based on dental office hours of operation.
