Ruth and Naomi’s Mission has been serving the Chilliwack community for over 20 years. What began as handing out sandwiches in downtown Chilliwack has grown into a multi-site organization supporting hundreds of individuals each day through shelter, recovery, outreach, housing, and community programs.

About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Assistant who will serve as a key support and thought partner to the Executive Director.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will help coordinate the rhythm of leadership and board work, support organizational initiatives and projects, and ensure strong follow-through across priorities.

This is more than a traditional administrative role — we are looking for someone who takes initiative, thinks critically, and helps drive momentum forward.

What You’ll Do

• Manage Executive Director scheduling, priorities, and meeting coordination
• Coordinate board meetings, packages, agendas, and minutes
• Track action items, EOS rocks, and organizational priorities
• Support project coordination and leadership initiatives
• Prepare reports, presentations, and leadership documentation
• Help maintain strong communication and follow-through across teams

What You Bring

• Experience providing executive-level or senior administrative support
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative proactively
• Experience supporting leadership teams or board processes preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Alignment with the mission and values of Ruth & Naomi’s Mission

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary of $65,000 – $68,000 dependent on experience

Schedule

• Full-time, in-office position
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
• Additional hours and occasional travel between Chilliwack locations may be required
