Role Summary
Morgan Stanley's Technology division is looking for a Windows Endpoint Development Engineer to contribute to ongoing initiatives and own engineering and operational tasks from beginning to end. The candidate will have a strong technical foundation, strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design new implementations and transition them to production status with appropriate automation, monitoring, and documentation.
- Engineer, develop, and deploy global software delivery, software configuration, and software packaging related tooling.
- Hands-on development of business-critical features and lead the design process focusing on architectural changes, stability and performance improvements, and user experience tweaks.
- Promote standardization of SDLC processes including Agile methodologies, task management, design and coding standards, test-driven development, continuous build and delivery.
Required Skills
- Deep hands-on experience with C#, .Net, SQL Server, Angular, TypeScript, and PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with web services, APIs, and REST.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell.
- Experience with distributed, large-scale, highly available systems.
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins).
- Experience with SDLC Agile, test-driven development, and various levels of automated testing.
- Knowledge of design patterns and anti-patterns.
Preferred Skills
- Active Directory and LDAP knowledge.
- SCCM knowledge.
- Windows Operating System knowledge.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.67/hour - $54.18/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
