WSP Intellectual Property Counsel Role

As a Legal Counsel specializing in Intellectual Property, you will navigate complex legal landscapes and provide essential guidance to various business units. Your contributions will include drafting contracts, advising on IP-related issues, and implementing effective governance frameworks that protect WSP’s technological advancements. You will also play a key role in policy development and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice on IP matters for technology and engineering solutions
- Draft and negotiate contracts related to intellectual property
- Assist in the administration of WSP’s IP management processes
- Participate in competitive landscape monitoring
- Collaborate across functions for IP issue resolution
- Qualified to practice law in Québec or other relevant jurisdictions
- 3-5 years of experience in IP and technology law
- Strong knowledge of global IP principles and practices
- Exposure to AI-related legal issues is preferred
- Exceptional communication and drafting abilities
