Legal Counsel Role in Video Game Industry

Become a Legal Counsel with Ubisoft in Montreal, working on blockbuster franchises such as Assassin's Creed and Rainbow Six. Empower creative teams while handling complex legal matters in the gaming landscape. Within Vantage Studios, you will provide strategic and practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment. Your role will include negotiating agreements, managing pre-litigation, and training team members on legal fundamentals. Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and support international projects. Key Responsibilities:

Offer legal assistance throughout the creative process
Negotiate and secure diverse legal agreements
Train teams on intellectual property and contractual issues
Interact with global stakeholders at various seniorities
Monitor regulatory changes affecting the gaming industry

Requirements:

Strong background in contract law for media and entertainment
Ability to communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders
Autonomous and proactive legal management skills
Excellent negotiation and teamwork abilities
Fluency in French and English
