The work centers on supplier qualification, transportation management, tariff classification, customs duties, trade barriers, and risk management. Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and communication support decisions affecting costs and competitiveness.Key Responsibilities:
Qualify local and international suppliersMonitor supplier performance through key performance indicatorsAnalyze duties, surtaxes, and countervailing tariffsAdvise management on tariff and regulatory impactsPresent savings, variance, and performance reportsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related business or supply disciplineTen years’ experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chainFive years managing people in professional teamsKnowledge of Canadian and United States customs regulationsFluency in French and English with strong influencing skillsBring international supply chain management, customs knowledge, supplier performance expertise, and strategic judgment to ABB in Dorval.
