The Manager of Partnerships will identify and close on business consistent with customer needs, driver needs, and corporate marketing strategy and budgets. This role will establish new accounts and develop creative ways to assist customers in meeting business objectives. The Manager of Partnerships will develop long-term working relationships with customers and liaise between the customer and operations to identify how we can meet their needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and nurture existing accounts.
  • Identify and build long term customer relationships to develop new contracts and volume sources to grow the business.
  • Monitor customer accounts in order to keep them informed of any potential issues.
  • Act as the liaison between customers, drivers, customer service, and operations in order to ensure expectations are being met and special instructions recognized.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the Credit department in order to ensure that our accounts are current.
  • Be aware and keep on top of any changes that may occur with existing customers and ensure that we are doing everything possible to secure their business.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of Sales experience within the Transportation Industry
  • Experience selling cross-border LTL and FTL solutions is considered a strong asset
  • Knowledge of the National Motor Freight Classification system (items and classes) is preferred
  • Familiarity with class and discount pricing structures
  • Be self-managed and able to perform job requirements with a minimal amount of supervision

Description de l'emploi:

Le responsable des partenariats identifiera et clôturera les affaires en fonction des besoins des clients, des besoins des conducteurs, ainsi que de la stratégie et des budgets marketing de l'entreprise. Ce rôle permettra d'établir de nouveaux comptes et de développer des moyens créatifs pour aider les clients à atteindre leurs objectifs commerciaux. Le responsable des partenariats développera des relations de travail à long terme avec les clients et assurera la liaison entre le client et les opérations pour identifier comment nous pouvons répondre à leurs besoins.

Devoirs et responsabilités:

  • Maintenir et entretenir les comptes existants.
  • Identifier et établir des relations clients à long terme pour développer de nouveaux contrats et sources de volume afin de développer l'entreprise.
  • Surveiller les comptes clients afin de les tenir informés de tout problème potentiel.
  • Agir comme agent de liaison entre les clients, les chauffeurs, le service client et les opérations afin de garantir que les attentes sont satisfaites et que les instructions spéciales sont reconnues.
  • Entretenir une relation étroite avec le service de crédit afin de s'assurer que nos comptes sont à jour.
  • Soyez conscient et restez au courant de tout changement pouvant survenir avec les clients existants et assurez-vous que nous faisons tout notre possible pour sécuriser leur activité.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 ans d'expérience en vente dans l'industrie du transport
  • Une expérience dans la vente de solutions LTL et FTL transfrontalières est considérée comme un atout majeur.
  • La connaissance du système national de classification du fret automobile (articles et classes) est préférable.
  • Familiarité avec les structures de prix de classe et de réduction
  • Être autonome et capable de remplir les exigences du poste avec un minimum de supervision
