Job Responsibility:
Role Overview: We are seeking a Commercial Excellence Sr Manager to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada reporting to the Managing Director Canada. The Commercial Excellence Sr Manager will be responsible for working with the BUD for both AWM and Surgical as well as the Managing Director in the following areas: - Deliver strategic Sales and Marketing initiatives that align with Commercial goals and deliver on our goal to be the fastest-growing Surgical and Wound company in Canada.
- Deliver predictive analytics actionable down to the Surgical and AWM Sales Representatives
- Develop and manage a Commercial Control tower that focuses on retention, expansion, and new account growth
- Lead cross-functional projects for the Canadian Commercial organization, focused on optimizing sales activities. This collaborative work includes market strategy, product launches, product life cycle reporting, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
- Support/initiate scalable and reportable outcomes, delivering innovative tools to the Canadian Commercial organization..
The Commercial Excellence Sr Manager will help define the roadmap for all current and future tenders and analyse that data to support the business opportunity. The Individual will also guide cross-functional projects and dashboards that will drive/support to our Commercial teams Additionally, this person will be responsible for reviewing, analysing and interpreting data to produce market intelligence reports. Your insights will be crucial in identifying patterns and trends in the market that may influence our company's commercial and operations future goals. This is a hybrid position (in office 80%) that requires strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. Responsibilities: - Analyse data to produce finance and market intelligence reports, highlighting patterns and trends in the Canadian healthcare market.
- Implement advanced Account Segmentation protocols to inform commercial business planning, strategies, and tactics
- Work in concert with Marketing to develop and conduct semi-annual business assessments
- Harvest and assess trends (units, ASP, dollars, government, competition) and project impact on market position by business
- Monitor capital implementations and track account behaviours and hardware pull-through trends
- Partner with Commercial and Government Affairs teams on Account Penetration strategies, leveraging data and analytics
- Utilize segmentation techniques to identify target customer groups and market opportunities.
- Monitor, track, and collect market share data, providing recommendations to maintain or improve our competitive position.
- Develop strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making and goal setting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency in reporting.
- Create visualizations and dashboards using Power BI to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new tools in the field of healthcare business intelligence and data analysis.
- Where appropriate, meet with customers (e.g., clinical end-users, Admin, procurement, government officials) to collect, vet and action industry data
- Participate and/or lead in other tasks as required to improve our operational efficiencies and outcomes (e.g., CRM launch and implementation, regional Deep Dive exercises, etc.)
- Partner with Ops team to analyze data and produce reports that support optimization of consigned inventory and fixed assets (sets) turnover
Key Competencies Strong Analytical skills Strategic Thinking Sales and Marketing Knowledge Strong understanding of Canadian Healthcare market Experience in tender road mapping and responses Excellent communication negotiating skills Proficiency in data analysis and CRM systems Project management Ability to drive business growth and customer satisfaction Market analysis and interpretation Operations and inventory optimization Location: Mississauga, ON , Canada Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, statistics or related field. Experience: - A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare business intelligence, strategic marketing, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex problems and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
