Law Clerk/Legal Assistant

We are seeking a Law Clerk with strong personal injury experience to join a results-driven and client-focused legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work on complex and high-value personal injury matters within a supportive and high-performing environment. As a Law Clerk, you will play a key role in managing personal injury files from inception through to resolution. You will work closely with lawyers to ensure efficient file progression, maintain high-quality documentation, and support successful client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury files from intake to settlement or trial
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, correspondence, and briefs
- Coordinate and review medical records, expert reports, and evidence
- Prepare chronologies, summaries, and damages briefs
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and third parties
- Schedule and coordinate discoveries, mediations, and court dates
- Maintain and update file documentation and limitation deadlines
- Assist with settlement negotiations and trial preparation
- Ensure accuracy and organization across all file materials
Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited Law Clerk program
- 5+ years of experience in personal injury law
- Strong knowledge of personal injury procedures and documentation
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage files independently with strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client service orientation and professional judgment
