Akcelo is looking for a Freelance Senior Account Manager to join our Vancouver team! You will be responsible for supporting the account management team across key clients to deliver exceptional client service.

With the chance to work with the latest technology and some of the world’s most famous brands, a normal day in the role of the Account daily lead includes:

• Motivating the Akcelo team around client business goals and acting as a strong client advocate within the agency


• Leading day-to-day project delivery, owning alignment across teams and stakeholders


• Preparing client presentations, scopes, and project plans


• Running WIP meetings, setting timelines, and ensuring expectations are clear and met


• Overseeing all workstreams, proactively identifying risks and managing timelines and budgets


• Applying and championing agency processes to drive creative quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance


• Ensuring high-quality creative by challenging briefs, reviewing work against client objectives, expectations, and brand standards, and providing clear, actionable feedback


• Building and growing client relationships across projects and portfolio


• Identifying opportunities to expand services, activating the right Akcelo capabilities to meet current and future client needs

To be in the running for this great role, you should have:

• Advertising agency experience (at least 3-4 years) in an Account Management role


• Ideally, strong integrated experience, but more importantly, be curious and excited to learn and be exposed to different capabilities within the agency (the work we do touches everything from Brand, Film, Digital, Social, Activations, PR, Retail, CX, Martech and customer lifecycle strategy)

• Self-starter mindset who loves to solve problems


• Buttoned down, highly organised, detail-oriented and takes pride in delivering all work to the highest standards

• The drive and hunger to learn and develop alongside the business and your team


• Passionate about great ideas, underpinned by commitment to delivery


• Contributes positively to the Akcelo culture and team spirit


• Initiative - you see things that need doing and you take action
