Spot Market Pricing Specialist

About the Role:

The Spot Market Pricing Specialist is responsible for identifying, pricing, and winning spot market opportunities across North America. This role is designed for someone with strong commercial instincts, a high sense of urgency, and a desire to grow within the industry. Success in this position comes from speed, market awareness, and the ability to balance risk and reward in real time.

This is a high‑exposure, fast‑paced role that supports Company growth.

Key Accountabilities:

• Actively monitor and price spot market opportunities across load boards, customer portals, and internal requests


• Quickly assess market conditions, capacity availability, and price volatility to generate competitive, executable pricing


• Work closely with sales and operations to convert spot quotes into booked freight


• Identify margin opportunities and flag high‑risk or low‑probability of success before execution


• Track wins, losses, and market trends to continuously refine pricing strategies


• Maintain market intelligence on lane volatility, seasonal shifts, and capacity constraints


• Provide feedback to the broader pricing and commercial teams on spot market trends and opportunities
