Become a Construction Cost Estimator with HTS Engineering Ltd. in North York, Ontario. Contribute to HVAC projects through detailed cost estimates and product selections within a collaborative team. At HTS Engineering, you’ll work in our expanding Sheet Metal Department, leveraging Bluebeam® software to prepare accurate cost estimates. This role emphasizes communication and collaboration with general contractors, engineers, and designers. You'll gain comprehensive training as you handle project drawings and prioritize tasks based on tender timelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Use Bluebeam® for precise cost estimating and equipment counts
- Review project drawings and associated documentation
- Record pricing elements in our management system
- Collaborate with technical teams for product selections
- Maintain organized files of revisions and project statuses
- Experience in construction or related fields preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent math abilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Positive attitude and ability to manage priorities
