Senior Development Coordinator

Williams Management is a respected boutique real estate consulting firm providing development management services to clients throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Interior. With over 25 years of experience, we oversee complex multi-family residential and mixed-use projects from early feasibility through construction and occupancy.

Our work includes site acquisition and feasibility, entitlements, consultant coordination, financial analysis, financing support, and construction oversight. The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Development Coordinator to step into a high-impact role supporting our CEO and existing team on several large, complex projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

While our office places a strong emphasis on mentorship, continuous learning, and professional growth, this position is intended for someone who already possesses a solid foundation in real estate development and can contribute immediately. We are looking for a self-starter who can quickly immerse themselves in complex projects, understand the broader development context, anticipate challenges and opportunities, and proactively move initiatives forward. This is not a role for someone simply waiting to be assigned tasks – it is an opportunity for a capable individual who takes ownership, exercises sound judgment, and helps drive projects to successful outcomes.

About the Role

You will act as a key extension of the CEO on active projects, helping ensure meetings are well-prepared, decisions are informed, and project momentum is maintained. This requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to think one or two steps ahead.

You’ll be involved across multiple phases of development, from acquisition and approvals through design coordination and construction, working closely with senior leadership to solve problems, test ideas, and refine project strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the CEO and Development Managers in advancing multiple complex projects across the Lower Mainland
• Prepare meeting agendas, briefing materials, and background analysis to ensure productive, decision-ready meetings
• Develop a deep understanding of each project to anticipate upcoming needs, risks, and decision points
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across planning, design, and construction phases
• Track schedules, deliverables, and approvals to keep projects moving forward
• Assist with financial models, pro formas, budgets, and internal reporting
• Prepare clear, polished presentations and reports for client and internal use
• Identify issues early and propose practical solutions
• Help maintain clarity, organization, and momentum across a demanding project portfolio

Qualifications

• While we would appreciate 2-5 years of experience in real estate development or development coordination, we are open to candidates with some coordination experience and a willingness to learn
• A post-secondary degree in real estate, commerce, business, planning, or a related discipline would be helpful
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fully in-person, collaborative office environment

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-person role based in our office in Mount Pleasant five days a week. We believe proximity enables better collaboration, faster learning, and stronger project outcomes.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $85,000–$105,000
