Join Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association as the Lead Event Manager. Spearhead innovative events while working remotely within the vibrant aerospace and defense community. In this strategic role, you will direct the lifecycle of 4-6 major events annually, ensuring seamless execution from concept to evaluation. Manage sponsorship relationships, collaborate with key stakeholders, and engage with the industry. Your technical prowess and strong organizational skills will drive ACADA's success in promoting regional interests. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute 4-6 major events from concept to wrap-up
- Build and maintain sponsorship relationships
- Coordinate logistics for participation in industry events
- Develop promotional content and communications plans
- Manage both vendor relations and event budgets
- Significant experience managing large-events
- Self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills
- Strong project management abilities
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies
- Willingness to travel for event support
