We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Lead to supervise and support our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisor in assigning daily tasks to Room Attendants and House Attendants
• Ensure housekeeping supplies are well-stocked, and request replenishments as needed
• Maintain effective communication with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams to meet guest expectations
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards
• Oversee the safe storage and proper use of cleaning materials, following Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines
• Handle guest lost property according to hotel procedures
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, including hosting team meetings and completing daily reports
• Facilitate staff orientation and training as per hotel guidelines
• Ensure excellent email communication with other departments
• Foster a collaborative and professional work environment, encouraging team spirit and high standards of service
• Manage guest feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Support housekeeping operations by performing Room Attendant or House Attendant duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, with leadership experience an asset
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Positive attitude, self-starter, and highly organized
• Available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written literacy skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
